Many people disagree, but there’s an excitement and sadness that goes with hunting that you don’t get anywhere else. I’m seen gnarly ass mountain men sob after killing a deer. Its a complex emotional roller coaster. Its been so beaten down by media that I doubt there will be a sane discussion about it for decades.

I’m still not certain my husband will be able to take the shot come hunting season. Hell I’m not sure I will be able to take the shot either and I’ve helped euthanize many animals at the vets and have processed my own birds before.
